(A) Web video is the latest innovation for Broadband enabled web-surfers. The UK for example, has more than 55% of the internet users on broadband connections. This means Web Video is starting to be used by more and more websites for advertising and leisure proposes. Video streaming allows a web video to run on the web page in real time after a brief wait of a few seconds, instead of the usual method of waiting to download the video file first. Plus, because the video is embedded on the web page along side any text and graphics, the video message has more impact to the website visitor. Any website could have pages showing video clips and short movies highlighting goods and services offered. Clients could use their existing sales or information video as the basis for there own website video.
